Monday, May 31, 2021 - 87 on the first night, 90 on the second night. First night: Deep color, big plummy flavors and grainy tannins. Like Meomi or another manufactured, over-the-top CA pinot with just a bit of promise underneath. Second night: Still on the big side for WV pinot, but everything in balance. Not my preferred style, but enjoyable. Should be a crowd pleaser with another two years of age or a long decant.
