Wednesday, June 9, 2021 - Decanted from bottle for 100 mins:
Color is purple orange and crystal clear.
The wine opens up beautifully with a pleasant nose of red fruits, red cherries, raspberries and strawberries. Peppery and a little spicy, fresh herbs and mineral. The entry was smooth, elegancy and silky. Mid palate is medium body, character echo the nose, with faint capsicon and zucchini. Tannins is elegance and still firm, with balanced acidity. Finishing is quite lengthy and stays in the throat for a minute or longer. An old style Brunello that's ready to drink now and the next 5 to 7 years. 91 pts
