Thursday, January 15, 2009 - Simply lovely. Full, bright and deep red in color - no sign of age whatsoever. Very lively nose of violet perfume with hints of pencil lead/graphite. Wonderful full yet balanced palate of bing cherry, other medium to dark fruit, chocolate, and just the slightest touch of wood. Brilliant, bright acidity focuses the finish, and sweet tannins last on the tongue. Good times.
