Saturday, June 26, 2021 - Blend: Nero d’Avola (90%), Petit Verdot, Syrah, and other grapes
from the Contessa Entellina Estate and nearby areas in south-western Sicily
with clay loam soils at 200 to 600 m.
Manual harvest. Sorted on vibrating table and de-stemmer.
Fermentation in truncated cone-shape stainless steel tanks
and maceration on the skins for ~14 days.
Aged 13 months in new French oak barriques (20+ types of wood)
and >24 months in bottle.
13.80% Abv.
