From magnum. I favored the 168 a tick more, mostly so because its service was a bit cooler. The 166 was served a little warmer than the 168, so the 166 came off slightly flatter. When given the chance to cool back down for a half-second, it came into better form and mirrored the 168. As with most Krug I’ve experienced, there is a slight oxidative note that carries an underlying plantain flavor my palate just has trouble getting down with. For those who love Krug, this will be, well… just like Krug.
