Sunday, August 15, 2021 - Color: medium red, rather concentrated for a 6 years old chorey
Nose: clearly evolution, but has this nice mix of red fruit and forest floor (sous bois) you find in real burgundy.
Taste: same flavor as in the nose, yet very piercing acidity in the after taste.
Conclusion: not to drink on it's own, but great match for a pheasant or other game bird dish. I remember this to be exuberant crunchy fruity when young with also a lot of acidity. The wine has melted into a classc burgh flavour which is a positive surprise for this humble appelation
