Sunday, August 22, 2021 - ABV: 14.1%. Didn't have any whites at home except for this bottle and it was definitely way too young to open. Sadly, there were some missing qualities that left me unimpressed, particularly the lack of acidity and minerality. The bottle was opened and consumed over two nights so it had about 24 hours to open up. Although notes of apples and stone fruits became more prominent over that time period, the overall profile of the wine remained flat and one-dimensional. Simply put, I've had Bourgogne Blancs that were much more exciting and complex at half the price.
