Tuesday, August 24, 2021 - Very dark. Initially, plums and roasted meat. Strong tannins and acidity straight from the bottle. 30 minutes in the glass and the harshness dissipates. After an hour, sweet, ripe, red and black fruit become dominant. Coffee notes as well. Roast meat sill there. Tannins still a bit strong. Medium+ weight. Good length. Freshness provided by a gentle acidity in the background. Excellent now with an hour decant. Should be perfect in about 2 years.

77% Cabernet, 19% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc.
