Sunday, August 29, 2021 - There are a small handful of excellent expressions of Syrah in Napa Valley and this co-fermentation from Arietta is among the best. Rich layers of blackberry, boysenberry, cracked pepper, olive, cocoa and cherry. The tannins are a bit hard at this point, but you can see the layers of this fine wine with a few hours of decanting.
