  9/11/2021 10:33:00 AM - Englishman- thanks for doing the hard work on these ‘19s :) Are you tasting these in Bordeaux? At the chateau in July we tasted the ‘17 lineup which was unfortunately very differently than the more recent versions.
  
  In your previous note you mentioned it’s massive (my words) - is that in regards to structure like Cases or more about the full palate? Thank you

  9/11/2021 2:48:00 PM - LiteItOnFire - I did taste this at the Château. The last note was from a bottle tasted at home (sent from the Château, naturally, given the young age).
  
  I haven’t had any suspicious issues re tasting at Château vs after release. Particularly at DB. Everything is completely above board. Bear in mind that some wines clamp down after a short period in bottle and become much less giving.
  
  Re the structure of 19 DB, it is a big wine but not really in the LLC style. LLC is big and structured, often somewhat reticent and austere in its youth. Conversely, this is giving and very attractive.

  9/11/2021 2:52:00 PM - Thanks Englishman. I wasn’t inferring anything behind the ask if at Chateau, more curious than anything. Thanks for the comparison clarity- these are more my preference as of late. Look forward to tasting these as those ‘16s are gorgeous.
