Saturday, October 16, 2021 - Medium ruby to deep garnet, well perfumed noise of stewed plums, black cherries, umami, allspice, menthol, black currant, and hints of vanilla, rich mature dark fruit on the attack with layers of mineral driven ripe red and black fruit, plump acidity and medium tannins, finished with silky red berry fruit, earth, black tea, powdery tannins, vanilla bean and more, solid effort from the good old Marchand days.
