Dark garnet in color and clear in the glass; aromas of black cherry, pomegranate, peach, baking spice, black pepper, and sweet floral notes that I could not pinpoint; tastes of black cherry, pomegranate, red raspberry, and black pepper on the palate; incredibly long finish with lingering hints of black cherry and pomegranate that lasted well over 2 minutes. The acidity just lingered in the midpalate for awhile and then slowly lingered into that finish. Balanced, polished tannins, texture, and complexity. Drinking just absolutely superb right now
