Wednesday, November 24, 2021 - Deep dark purple, completely opaque. Wow, what a gorgeous nose: that is Cab Sauv and nothing else! Full on blackcurrant and cassis, with some cedar underlying. On the palate, there's a spiciness and a decent amount of fine tannins, but the fruit is the defining feature - and its joyous. There's a touch of blackcurrant leaf on the long, lip-smacking finish. This is pure pleasure! And at around £17, it's good value. Cork, 14%.
