Wednesday, December 15, 2021 - Decanted for sediment but probably should have let stand upright for a bit since there was a lot of fine sediment. Drank over the course of 2 hours and this wine showed best towards the end. Very pretty nose of ripe red and black plum, black cherry, lilac, some cocoa powder and bitter dark chocolate. Similar flavors on the palate with a very pure and bright fruit profile. Medium acid and tannin. Smooth mouthfeel and long finish. Drinking really well at the moment. Very nice wine.
