Monday, January 3, 2022 - On pnp soaring with cherry liquor I decided to decant for an hour and then fill back in bottle for dinner. Served from Zalto Universal this was a lovely wine that kept changing - it was fine and Burgundian on one hand, then it had traits of a slightly heady Pomerol with kirsch liquor and also some classic mature N Rhone traits with nuances of pepper and game all with a well integrated backframe of new oak that I associate with Guigal wines. A very good wine and I felt this more complete and enticing today than the 97 Mouline tasted a few weeks back for its higher fruit intensity.
