Tuesday, January 11, 2022 - Divine. The nose is entrancing, with melon, white peach, candied lemon rind, grilled grapefruit, toast, almond, cream, and a hint of mushroom. High acidity keeps it fresh but more than meets its match in the pronounced fruit concentration and mineral notes on the palate. Primary and tertiary flavours linger on the lovely long finish. A very, very special wine. It has plenty of fruit concentration and structure for another decade in bottle.
