Saturday, February 12, 2022 - Purchased direct form winery. 2 hour decant and poured back into the bottle for transport to a restaurant. Paired with rack of lamb.

The aromas were of red and dark fruits and some spice. The flavors were of more black fruits with some minerality and spice. Tannins were fine grained and well integrated. The acid was medium minus with a finish that was medium. Wine was well balanced.

It's a smooth easy drinker and it is open for business. It may gain a point with more time in the cellar but no harm in popping a cork now, as its ready to rock and roll!. It's a very nice wine with a good QPR.
