Monday, March 2, 2009 - Not too bad, but since it was tasted head to head with the 1997 version, that may have skewed the results. It was decanted for about 3 hours. The nose was pretty tame and you had to work to get an impression Hints of fruit on the nose with tobacco, spice and dark ripe fruit on the palate. fair finish.
