Tuesday, March 15, 2022 - Ended my 30 day detox today with this bottle tonight. Purple color with the slightest hint of some brown. Red fruit on the nose along with pepper and maybe bacon fat. Long thick legs. Little tannins which surprised me. Finish was long. On the palate I experienced more generic red fruit, pepper, tobacco, with a bitter aftertaste. It’s possible that this will benefit from more air but glass one was a disappointment at this price point. Will update notes if the wine evolves over the next several hours.
