Saturday, March 26, 2022 - Generally- unchanged from prior note. Poured blind for friends in resto/wine biz. Was too cold from spending too much time in my wine bag. So the tannins were pronounced & speculation centered around original Inglenook Cabernet. After the wine warmed & gathered air, blind tasters moved to Syrah. So there's a lesson in proper temperature when serving.
Finally, the wine became everything I loved about it previously. I think it has 5-8 more years ahead & will wait accordingly. But yes - this is very enjoyable now.
