Wednesday, April 6, 2022 - Coming into its own right now with some air - slow ox'd for 3.5 hours. Just an incredibly elegant wine. The mineral core comes through but so does the darker fruit into a long finish as you'd expect. Has that grand cru mouthfeel in mid-palate. This will be really good for the foreseeable future, but was a wonderful check-in. 70% new oak treatment has completely integrated by now (and with air). Maybe the best Clos Vougeot I've had this side of Rene Engel
