Saturday, April 23, 2022 - It’s overwhelmingly complex: sweet pastry, baked apple, smoke, almond, orange blossom, and chalk. It has that bittersweet note you get when almond frangipane burns, which is to say divine. It’s beguiling on the nose and then smooth on the palate. The finish goes on forever. It’s a gorgeous wine.
