Sunday, March 15, 2009 - Decanted for about an hour. Closed, woody, dry herbs. All the signs of a fading wine. I put the glass aside and moved on to something else. About two hours later I went back to the glass and was amazed at how the wine had changed! Fleshy black fruit, meaty, black plum flavors. I could not believe it was the same wine. I would be interested to see if anyone else has had a similar experience with this wine. When I open another bottle, I will treat it with more respect and pay better attention to it.
