Wednesday, May 11, 2022 - Drank this as I am trying to clear the Cali ‘17s out of my cellar and was pleasantly surprised. This is a big wine but in balance and tasted more like Syrah than previous Venge Syrah I have tasted (which were more cab like). Big dark fruit, easy to drink, hint of pepper. Not sorry I opened it, but no rush if you have one.
