Sunday, May 22, 2022 - Han's Birthday Lunch (Grill Room, Hong Kong Country Club, Shouson Hill, Hong Kong): Near-perfect fill but a slightly challenging cork. Not decanted and probably didn't need to be other than for sediment sludge on the final pour. Totally jewelled transparent amber/lambs blood. Nose is lovely lifted, slightly sweet or liqueured cherry. Palate is ultra-smooth, low viscosity, totally integrated alcohol, slightly sherried, very rounded. Marvellous. Perfect with Cohiba Lanceros cigars. 94+ Thanks, Hans!
