Tuesday, June 21, 2022 - Very few of the better Verdicchios seem to surface outside of Italy , but this bucks the trend, a very decent example of a grape I like when well made, this had a slightly deeper more alcoholic slant to it but not in an adverse way, all the grapes plus points were there, a slight spritz and that slightly over ripe fruit style yet still refreshing, there is a big variation in styles one can sample if you visit the region and this was one of the better ones at a decent price.
