Saturday, June 25, 2022 - Rich, ripe and somewhat dried fruit. Earth. Medium bodied but intense. Definitely old world and with rusticity.
There's something that still unpleasantly assaults the palate... I honestly can't tell if it's the unintegrated acid, overectraction, or tannins that have "dissolved" by turning into to raspy chalk
This is not so bad as to make the wine unpleasant in the glass! It's just neither a fun or interesting wine alone in the glass.
It plays its part well alongside some room temp lamb stew
