Saturday, June 25, 2022 - A: Leather, dark cherry, soil
T: Prominent tartness, leather, light pepper and some smoke

Decanted about an hour. Paired with spicy Italian meats and a selection of cheeses. This was a decent CC that held up to, but didn't overpower, the pairing. Expected more body, flavor and tannins from a wine this young but it's already pretty mellow.

It's completely inoffensive and good for the style, but you can find CC just as good for half the price (at least what I paid).
