Saturday, July 2, 2022 - Chris's Italian Dinner at QCH (Quality Chop House, Farringdon Road, London): Dark red with some tar, balsamic, and black cherry notes on the nose. Palate seemed a bit muddled and lacking in clarity and disappointing in the circumstances given the pedigree of the appellation and reputation of the producer. The bottle did not seem to be faulty or atypical and not one to cellar further in hope of transformation.
