2005 Mount Langi Ghiran Shiraz Langi

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Monday, December 20, 2021 - Screwcap, 14.5% alc. Dark red – black. Minimal bricking.

A seductive aroma of dark berries, cherry, deli meats, leather, herbs, and malt biscuits.

Richly fruited yet supple, with waves of flavour spreading across the palate. Tannic grip, integrated into the wine. Perfect acidity. Very good length.

Opinion: so alluring. The aroma keeps bringing you back to the glass. Youthful but full of complexity. Give it air and drink over the next 8–10 years.
