Monday, July 11, 2022 - Deep, saturated yellow pushing towards golden. The nose is primarily a riesling-like petrol/rubber aroma, along with some lightly oxidative calvados/apple notes, sourdough, and wet rocks. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of stewed apple, pineapple, lime, and minerals. Wouldn't call this a crowd pleaser, but certainly a different and interesting wine for the geeks.
