from contract vineyards farmed with no herbicides.
De-stemmed, sorted and cold settled.
Fermented at 22°C with daily pump-over and punching down.
Aged 14 months in oak barrels (30% new).
13% Abv.
Background: Family estate created in 1954 by Edmond Geantet et Bernadette Pansiot.
Proprietors/Winemakers: Vincent Geantet (3rd gen) with son Fabien Geantet

A(ccuray)=2: Med light cherry/ruby. Delicate yet firm varietal.
B(alance)=2: Modulated components with firm structure.
C(omplexity)=2: Red berries, earth, spices.
D(epth)=1: Sinewy mouthfeel. Average length and finish.

Wine Tally Score [2,2,2,1]= 7/10

Bit austere at this stage. May open when softened up.
