We gave it at least 30 mins in the decanter and even though there's no question this was a big wine with a long finish, it was stil very tight and the flavors were quite primary. The most noticeable aspect was the alchohol (not neccessarily hot in a way that burns your throat). We might have caught this bottle at an awkward phase. Will wait a few years to try again while I drink the standard Chardonnay.
