The polar opposite of a fruit-forward New World wine. Wine Advocate's drinking window extends to 2045, and they're probably right. This has hardly evolved in its first 11 years. I can imagine its turning into something intensely mushroomy and therefore great, but that will take another 1-2 decades. My bottles won't retain their slots for that long. Maybe someone will come back and tell me how great this wine becomes in 2040.
