Saturday, August 13, 2022 - This Pagani is 90% Zin, 9% Alicante Boushet, and 1% Mouvedre. What was a deep purple Pagani is now a deep plum. It still appears youthful. Notes of the usual rhubarb, blackberry, black pepper and coffee. Something herbal, maybe rosemary on the mid-palate. The wine is holding its own and can easily age another five years despite the back label, written in 2013, saying the wine is most enjoyable over the following seven years. Some sediment. 14.1% alc. With grilled (beef) burgers. 08.13.22. Recommended.
