Monday, December 21, 2009 - Keith's Christmas Ledbury Bash (The Ledbury, London): Lighter than the 88 Baron. Deep ruby. Lovely nose, velvety fruit and a touch of tobacco. A floaty, ethereal quality to the nose. Light for the vintage and lightens further in the glass though the fruit rounds out and becomes really quite sweet. Very pleasing and pretty wine though lacks complexity and a bit of stuffing. Finishes a little dilute. Top ***
