Tuesday, May 15, 2018 - Happy Birthday Kathy and Virgie (Yan's China Bistro, Walnut Creek, Ca.): Happy Birthday Kathy and Virgie, nose of black berry, black currants, plum, red bell pepper, spring flowers, and hints of cigar box and saddle leather, same on the palate, at its peak, medium/big body, very tasty, lovely to sip and savor, almost elegant, classic Chateau Pichon Lalande to me, all the classic Bordeaux flavors are fully integrated and at their best today, and a long finish.
