Sunday, September 23, 2018 - Served with short ribs and side by side with a 1996 Chateau Giscours. This had a huge, bouquet with lots of barnyard funk. It was freightening because not all the notes were positive. Some of the mustiness eventually blew off revealing a wonderful cedar, cherry core. The wine evolved and became more integrated over the course of the meal. It was an experience. Sadly my last bottle of this from a buying spree 25 years ago
