Saturday, August 1, 2015 - Open from the get go. Initial aromas of primary plum and berries. Palate showed just ripe plums, blackberries, and earth. Over several hours, wine became a bit leaner but also with more savory tobacco, herbs, a bit of garrigue and a touch of kirsch. Mild tannins are present but never obtrusive. Best showing yet for this and still has a lot of time to go.
