Saturday, August 6, 2011 - Drinking Wine in a Basement with Pierre Rovani (The Wine Rack): Served blind. The lush fruit of 2002 comes through on the nose with with some nice forestal undertones. The palate was approachable, but still clearly young. Palate was unmistakingly bright and forward with nice tertiary mushroom, floral, and spice components. Thought the spice was more reminiscent of Vosne than Chambolle.
