93 Points

Wednesday, October 28, 2009 - Popped and poured. Watery red-orange color. Soaring nose of black cherry and coffee. The nose is really something special. Mid-weight on the palate. Expansive flavors of red cherry, spice and coffee on the palate. Surprisingly, this is still fairly tannic, with really nice acidity and the finish is long and very satisfying. This is showing very well now, but given all the components, I would expect this to continue to improve for quite awhile into the future.
