Monday, December 24, 2018 - With Xmas Eve dinner of spicy lamb stew. This was a pristine bottle with a cork that appeared almost brand new. Effusive full nose of aged cedar, dried tobacco leaf, road tar and mature plum fruit. The palate is medium bodied and continued to pick up intensity and fleshiness over a couple of hours. Lingering finish. Great stuff from Ric.
