Wednesday, October 18, 2017 - I suspect this was an off bottle as it was undrinkable; not corked, but the nose had this weird soy sauce, peppery nose that was nothing like cabernet; the palate was hot, disjointed, and unpleasant. I tried decanting for 2 hours with no change. Unsure exactly what the flaw was, but this was terrible.

10/29/2017 9:31:00 AM - We have/had a couple cases of the '05 in our cellar and have drank 2/3rds. We too have experienced similar tastings with 2 bottles but the rest have been stellar.
