Nice red berry profile (tart cherry cranberry and a bit of raspberry) and then a touch of cake-spice hiding underneath, not much nose, a bit tart, with a fairly high acidic profile and a grippy finish. I will wait at least 6mo to a year before trying another - I don't think this is ready.
2nd nite, I like this much more. I think the way I handled this wine (popping it early) was a bad move, and giving a slow air allowed itto close down some. Much nicer mouth feel tonight, more fruit (still red berries) and less tartness. Nice finish too.
