Saturday, May 7, 2016 - Rite of Spring at Chevalier Wines (Chicago, IL): There's a incredible amount of smoke on the nose and palate of this wine, coupled with a lot of sweetness and tons of brown spice. Kind of like a really sweet barbecue sauce? Moderately confected (but still showing candied red fruit), this is drinkable in small doses.
