Friday, May 27, 2011 - Strikingly pretty rich crimson red. Full of youthfull exuberance, this coudoulet promises a long and enjoyable life. Essentially a CdP for the budget conscious, and more like the 2007 than 2008, this effort is dark, more grainey (yet suple) than silky, showing dark smokey blackberries, wood grilled steaks, rich dark plums, and black licorice. Good now, probably will evolve nicely in the bottle. Improves with a bit of a decant.
