Tuesday, January 26, 2016 - Black licorice, tarry garrigue, sappy yerba santa herb, if this is supposed to be a Chateauneuf clone from California it's very well done. At this age, it's got transparency and focus despite the high alcohol, a little mushroomy but mostly meat and herbs. Cherry, plum, a touch smoky and minty too over a silky palate. Yum! Well done.
