Saturday, November 2, 2013 - Almost like two wines in one. Good typical Marlborough grassy SB nose. That carried forward into the palate. On first taste good citrus and melon with strong grassiness. All good. Then the finish was almost viscous and strong with honey. I found this a bit off putting. I prefer my SBs to be crisper. It was quite pleasant though and paired with a spicy dish (Indian dish perhaps) the softer sweet honey finish may be great. I only had one bottle left so cannot test.
