Tuesday, December 11, 2012 - Got to say; I don't have a lot of experience with Pignol (only had it twice, both times by Bressan). That being said, I would definitely like to know more about it. The nose is loaded with white pepper, ripening cherries, dried herbs and star anise. Palate is medium bodied with lots of fruit that opens as the wine stretches its legs. I think this has a good amount of life left in it as well, as tannins and acid still taste youthful and vibrant.
