Monday, June 10, 2019 - This took me by surprise. A genuinely impressive sparkling wine, and in terms of domestic sparklers, approaching the quality I've enjoyed only from Ultramarine. A blend of chardonnay and pinot noir disgorged in January 2017, this had fine perlage, bracing acidity, and tons of pinot fruit. (I would have guessed 100% pinot noir.) It did not have any oxidative notes whatsoever.
